Co- and Post-seismic Deformation Mechanisms of the 2020 Mw6.0 Jiashi Earthquake in Xinjiang (China), Revealed by Sentinel-1 InSAR Observations

On 19 January 2020, an Mw6.0 earthquake occurred in Jiashi County, Xinjiang, China. This is a strong that the Kepingtage Belt. The monitoring and inversion of co-seismic post-earthquake will help further understand geometry movement properties this tectonic belt. In study, Sentinel-1A images were used to analyze deformation post-seismic events. Okada elastic dislocation model was invert geometric parameters fault slip distribution. results showed maximum uplift subsidence deformations from ascending 55 45 mm, respectively. descending 62 28 show induced by with length 23.5 km, width 4.7 depth 7.2 km. typical dip-slip event. distributed are located on same plane, mainly edge fault, between two faults.
